The Aurai shawl is an ethereal, delicate piece of knitwear inspired by nature and mythology. The Aurai were the Ancient Greek goddesses of the breezes, and the flowing, draping fabric of this shawl will keep you warm and cozy in spite of the chill winds. Wrap it around your shoulders and secure it with a shawl pin for a dressed-up look, or scrunch it around your neck for a more casual style; the Aurai shawl can be worn many different ways, evoking a different feeling each time.

Aurai is a crescent shawl that is knitted flat, starting with a garter tab (instructions included) and worked top down. The shawl is made up of five sections including lace and textured stitches. The lace and textured stitches are very simple, so I have not included charts.
