Aurora is a headband with a little twist. It is double layered for extra warmth, has sizes for children and adults, and includes instructions for five different weights of yarn from Fingering to Aran. It is knit in the round from side to side and uses a provisional cast on and the Kitchener Stitch to create an absolutely seamless headband. Added bonus - no purling! Scratch off everyone on your list, using whatever yarn you have on hand, with this extraordinarily versatile pattern.

Also a great pattern for marling yarns together, or adding a strand of mohair! Just make your swatch, check your gauge, match it to the closest gauge in the pattern, then knit that size!

Finished Measurements
This pattern is written for Child and Adult sizes. The Child sized headband is approx 3.5” / 9 cm wide and 15” 38 cm around and the Adult sized headband is approx 5” / 13 cm wide and 20” / 51 cm around, though the pattern contains instructions to customize the circumference for a perfect fit.
