Aurora Mini Bonnet
The perfect easy cute or cool knit accessory for spring!
Why not try this quick, free knitting tutorial and make yourself a cute mini bonnet?
I have tried to keep this tutorial beginner friendly, with explanations and search terms.
This is a quick, free project perfect for using up leftover yarn or “stash busting!”
Aurora Mini Bonnet
You will need:
- Fingering weight yarn (about 1/3 ball, I used Sadnes Garn Tynn Peer Gynt wool)
- A silk mohair or equivalent fluffy yarn (about 1/3 ball, I used Knitting for Olive soft-silk mohair)
- 3.5mm needles (25 stitch blocked guage per 10cm)
- Tapestry needle + scissors
Inspired by the Damson Madder mini bonnets, I thought why not knit a more simple version?
