A beautiful jacket that is midriff in length, with long, slim sleeves and a low square neckline. The variations in the hand-dyed wool yarn and the stitch texture of the bodice present a Spencer with rich depth of character. (Interweave)

Finished Size: 33 (34-3/4, 37, 39, 40-1/2, 42-3/4, 44)“ chest circumference, buttoned, including 3/4” front band. Top shown measures 33”.

Yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh Sport (100% superwash Merino; 270yd [246m]/41/4 oz [120 g]): gilded, 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 5, 6) skeins.

Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm): 24” (60cm) circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Stitch markers (m); scrap yarn for stitch holders; tapestry needle; spare cir needle in same size or slightly smaller than main needle for three-needle bind-off; size F/5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook; five 1/2” shank buttons.
