Dingo puppies are clever and cute.
Here is your chance to make your very own toy version. The dingo plays a very important role in the Australian Eco-system, Dingoes are being killed in the wild because of their perceived damage to agriculture. However, killing dingoes removes them from the critical weight Eco-system, allowing feral foxes and cats to continuously increase the rate of mammal extinction.

This is a flat knit pattern; circular needle is used to accommodate stitch numbers more easily.

Size: About 25 cm (10 “) in height and 40 cm (16 “) in length.
Materials: DK weight yarn, pure wool, Schachenmayr Merino Extra Fine 120 m per 50 g

Tension/ Gauge: This is not of critical importance. The most important consideration is to use a needle size smaller than recommended for the chosen yarn, to achieve a tight knit fabric, so that it can be stuffed firmly.
Using DK weight yarn and a 3 mm needle will result in about 26 sts and 36 rows to 10 cm (4”) square.
