A simple cowl pattern that allows a complicated yarn to shine. The crochet trim is a great way to learn/try crochet for the first time, it only looks complicated, it’s actually very simple.

Shown in acrylic because of the intended giftee, it would look gorgeous in any variegated, handpainted or tweedy yarn with a solid contrasting trim. Since it doesn’t use tons of yarn you could make it out of something luxurious and treat yourself.

Great as a quick present to whip up for the holidays.
