My main idea with these bears was to make something cute for Christmas, a little gift or a seasonal decoration. I combined that with another idea: a few months ago, I reused food jars and thought it would be great to recycle them and add something different. So I crocheted some cute bear heads to use as lids.

I used Cobboo yarn (Lionbrand), a very soft and comfortable bamboo yarn, with warm, matte colors for fall and winter.

The lid or mouth of the container is approximately 10 cm wide. My jars are from baby food (Heinz and Gerber), olives, and mayonnaise (a plastic one if you’re using them for children).
