A soft and snugly cowl to beat back autumnal chills. Quick to work up, great as a last minute present and fab for using up scraps of yarn.

Yarn:
Cascade 220 Superwash. Or any Light Worsted / Worsted / DK yarn.

Hook:
5.5mm (I) size crochet hook
6.5mm (K) size crochet hook for the foundation chain only. You can work loose chains with a 5mm hook instead.

Skill Level:
Intermediate. You will need to know how to work in the round,
half double crochet (htr for UK folk) and cluster stitches. The cluster stitch used in this pattern is explained in the pattern notes and there are step-by-step photos of the stitch.

Sizes:
Small = 20” x 8”, Medium = 26” x 8”, Large = 32” x 8”

I’ve used eight colours for the sample in the photographs but this pattern would look gorgeous in fewer colours too.

The pattern is in written format and is available in AMERICAN and BRITISH crochet terms (just choose which file to download). All of my patterns include an abbreviation list, stitch counts per row or round, and an explanation of special stitches if applicable. If you have any questions about the pattern please feel free to contact me. :)

Happy Hooking!
