These socks are knit from the cuff-down, and contain twisted ribbing throughout. After a short cuff, the cabled twisted ribbing begins, which is then continued throughout the duration of the sock. Instructions are also given for the heel flap and gusset technique, featuring a rounded heel and the sock finishes with a slightly rounded toe. ** Tips for modifying: If you typically knit 60 stitch socks, try knitting size 1. If you typically knit 72 stitch socks, try knitting size 2. If you typically knit 56 stitch socks, try knitting size 1 on smaller needles for the duration of the project. If you typically knit 68 stitch socks, try knitting size 2 on smaller needles for the duration of the project.**
