Designed with a creative twist, the pattern offers the perfect opportunity to showcase your favourite leftover yarns if you want to add bands of extra colours. I have used 4 colours - 2 of the colours need almost entire skeins (100g) but the other two need around half balls. But each row of bricks uses approximately 5g (about 18m) of yarn, and the bind off uses 10g, providing opportunities to utilize your stash if you want to bring in more colours. (if you have to go shopping for new yarn though, I promise I won’t tell).

My specific colours and yarns are:
Colour 1 (C1): Undercover Otter Eventide: Unreturned. 100g (366m)
Colour 2 (C2): Undercover Otter Eventide: Gamera. 63g (231m)
Colour 3 (C3): Locoporella Epic Yak: Gold. 80g (293m)
Colour 4 (C4): Undercover Otter Eventide: Brundle: 50g (183m)

The construction of this scarf is slightly unusual. It features a very short cast on, which is then followed by knitting the lace scalloped edge. You then pick up stitches, a few at a time, building up the triangle shapes that ultimately make the scarf.

Despite its lightness, this scarf features a stunning band of slip stitches that creates an extra layer of insulation, ensuring you stay snug on even the coldest days. Its generous length allows for multiple wraps around your neck, providing the ultimate cozy experience.
