A warm and cosy hat pattern for more experienced crocheters to make. The pattern combines, crochet rib and alpine stitch, which is much easier to make than it looks, and decreasing.

Worked from the rib to the crown, the finished hat is very pretty and closed textured. I used a recycled acrylic DK (light worsted) yarn, but any DK yarn would work, just check your tension against mine.
You can make the hat smaller or larger by reducing the number of stitches by multiples of 2.
