Autumn Leaf Fingerless Mitts
I used a leaf pattern and variegated yarn to create this fun and well fitting fingerless mitt. Once you start to see the leaf pattern emerge, you want to do more!
Materials: Shown in Plymouth Yarn Co. Gina – 2 skeins
Or use 200 yards, worsted weight
Needles: Double Pointed US size 7/4.5 mm
Gauge: 5 stitches/inch
One size fits most
Knitting Level: Intermediate
Yarn Over Tip: On rows 1 and 11, the yarn overs may feel awkward. They come after a purl and before a knit and then after a knit and before a purl. An easy approach is to put the working yarn in the position needed to do the next stitch, and then do the yarn over. For example, if the next stitch is a purl, put the yarn forward, then do the yarn over. If the next stitch is a knit, put the yarn back and then do the yarn over.
