Simple increases create the shaping in this shawl.

Mainly worked in garter stitch.

Edging is knit separately and sewn on.
Pattern has some errors in it. To get the shawl as it looks in the picture, on the wrong side row, between the stitch markers, purl 2x.
And on the edging, on row 23, it should read as thus: K1, yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, yo ,k2tog, k2.
