The joy of autumn: Crisp cool days, blue skies, falling leaves, and knitting! Inspired by the season, the Autumn Scarf is a symmetrical piece with identical leafy ends. It begins with a provisional cast on at the center neck. The scarf is knit out to the end in one direction, and then the other. The body of the scarf has two columns of a looped stitch that looks like a cable, but is simpler to knit. Each end of the scarf features a pair of lacy leaves, a remembrance of the leaves that are falling.

This pattern was originally designed for the Knit Picks Swish Collection, and is now available from PDXKnitterati through Ravelry download.
