The Autumn Socks are knit over 64 stitches on 2.25mm and 2.5mm needles. You will need both size needles because the pattern, which is integral to the ribbing, works better on 2.5mm needles with the remainder of the sock worked on 2.25mm.

The laced ribbing pattern is both written and charted.

I write my patterns for the magic loop method of sock knitting although this can easily be converted if you use DPNs.

They are top down with a traditional heel flap and gusset, although your preferred heel can be added in.

Any 100g of 4ply sock yarn will work with this pattern, you don’t have to use Drops Nord.

The pattern has been tested and tech edited.

Note that this pattern has had a name change (Dec 2022).
