The Autumn Stripes Raglan is a super chunky, top-down sweater with raglan shaping. It uses only single crochet and double crochet throughout the entire sweater, and is totally seamless. This piece is part of my “Double Crochet All Day Collection”, a group of beginner garment patterns showcasing the versatility of the double crochet stitch, launching in early 2020.

This is a statement chunky crochet sweater. It’s oversized, yet fitted in all the right places. The turtleneck and fitted sleeves give it a modern look and help balance out the boxy-ness of the body of the sweater. I designed this because I wanted a chunky statement sweater that had some serious colour! I usually shy away from colour but I thought I’d use 4 of my favourite colours from the Cozy Wool Loops & Threads collection all in the same project. I added my own personal touch by working the neck as a cowl turtleneck and slim fitting sleeves.

If you like chunky sweaters, make sure to check out my Double Crochet All Day Raglan, which is a longer, more oversized version of this sweater!!

This pattern has been professionally graded + tech edited to be as correct as possible. All sizes have been tested!

Sizing
#sizeinclusive - sizes include XS (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X) to fit bust sizes 28-30 (32-34, 36-38, 40-42, 44-46) (48-50, 52-54, 56-58, 60-62)“.

The finished bust measurements are: 30 (35, 40, 42.5, 47.5) (50, 55, 60, 62.5). This sweater is designed to have 1-2” of positive ease in the bust and zero ease in the upper sleeves, and a deep yoke.

Choose a size that is 1-2” larger than your actual bust size. For example, model has 34” bust and is wearing a size small with a garment bust measurement of 35”. There is a deep yoke, so it feels a lot more roomy than just 1” of positive ease.
