This time of year is about all things golden. The garden feels settled, the buzzing in the trees starts to subside and blooms are fading. Soon, we’ll be surrounded by Pumpkin Spice everything….but not before I profess my undying love for sunflowers…
I know Meg Ryan thinks “daisies are the friendliest flower”, but I disagree. The joy I get from sunflowers is unmatched. Truly, they are remarkable. Towering towards the sky, an outright refusal to be anything short of big. They take up space, they’re bold and in a way could be symbolic of what we should all strive to be in life; big, bold, sunny and reaching for the sky.

The pattern uses colours from the Spices Collection by The Frosted Stitch Yarn, 75/25% SW Merino/Nylon, DK weight, (246yds/100g) and a 4.5mm hook (size 7).
Pattern includes all colours used and the yarn quantities as well as exact positioning. My gift to you is taking the work out of colourwork! --The Frosted Stitch has also put together a blanket kit for this pattern. It’s available on her website and the links to it are included in the pattern :)

The final blanket size was: Approximately 43” x 60” Blocked.
