Description:

Inspired by leaf-peeping and early winter fires, these socks come in Small (Medium, Large) - for a circumference of 8-9” (9-10”; 10-11”), or 20 - 22,5cm (22,5 - 25,5 cm; 25,5 - 28cm) respectively - , are designed with heel flap and gusset, and are knit top down using your preferred method for knitting in the round. This colorwork design is ideal for those that want an extra cozy sock while trying out an indie dyer’s yarn.

Supplies List:

Yarn: 40-60g for Main Color (shown in Cloudborn Fibers Merino Superwash Sock Twist Handpaints, colorway Stone Heather), and 20-30g for Contrast Color the (shown in Yarnable, fingering, colorway Sweet & Sour)

Needles: US1/2mm & US00/1,75mm (or whatever needle size is necessary to obtain gauge)

Notions: Stitch Markers, Row Markers, Scissors, and a Tapestry Needle

Gauge: 24sts & 31 rows for 10cm/4”, with the Smaller Needle knit in the round, in stockinette.
Note: Once you have selected your smaller size needle based on the gauge, use one needle size larger to knit the cuff.
