It is November, and by now many of the leaves have fallen, blown away from strong autumn rain. There is a definite chill in the air and a need for something extra warm and cozy to transition into the winter season. The Autumn’s End Cowl is just that. It is an advanced beginner pattern that with a beautiful texture that also features a tapered collar to keep your face and neck warm as the temperatures continue to dip.

This is an advanced beginner level pattern. Photo tutorials and video are included.

The pattern is written in standard US crochet terms. It comes in one size; however, it may be increased or decreased, as desired.

Dimensions: 14” (36 cm) x 36” (91.4 cm) circumference | 18” (46 cm) wide, laid flat

Here’s what you’ll need:
Hook: 15 mm
Yarn: 2 skeins of Feisty Fibres Fluff yarn or approximately 280 yards (256 m) of super bulky yarn
