Knit a cardigan, seamlessly, from the bottom up. Sleeves are cast on at the cuff and knit in the round.
The fancy color work stranded flower pattern starts after the sleeves and body are joined.
There are a few (optional) short rows within the yoke to allow for a better fit at the neck.
Superwash wool makes this a gift friendly project for new parents.
Work this in DK weight yarn or use worsted weight and make one size down.

When choosing sizes, measure an existing sweater’s chest below the underarm, and double it to get the finished chest size.
This sweater requires 2”of ease to fit over clothing. Make any number from your existing garment BIGGER when in doubt. The hem hangs straight after blocking.
