size can be knitted at different gauges to
achieve alternative sizing. Sizes 1 (3) 5 (7) 9
are worked at a gauge of 23 sts and 31 rows
per 10 cm using 4.5 mm needles, while sizes 2
(4) 6 (8) 10 are worked at a gauge of 21 sts
and 29 rows per 10 cm using 5 mm needles.
You can choose how loose or fitted you want
the garment to be depending on the size you
select. The recommended ease is 20–30 cm.
For a more oversized fit, go up one size; for a
more fitted sweater, choose a smaller size.
