When I saw the colors in this sock yarn, they immediately made me think of the autumn mornings. Those mornings when the darkness begins to stay longer and longer, the air turns crispy and the fog makes everything look a bit surreal. I remember the humid, foggy mornings in Finland, when one could hardly see the road ahead. Now I live on top of a hill, and the fog hardly arrives here. But those mornings, when I look out of the window, and the clouds of fog float between the hills, they feel like magic. Then soon the Mediterranean sun fades away the fog and reveals the autumn colors.
These socks are worked cuff down. The heel is shaped with German short rows. Simple ribbing-like pattern is created by using increases and decreases.
