Ava Dress is worked from the top down using 1 strand of either Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk. The wide skirt means the sizes are flexible and that the dress can be used for a long time.

You start with a provisional cast-on for the yoke and work the first part of the yoke back and forth while following the charts for the eyelet and pearl stitch pattern. Afterwards, you continue in the round in stockinette stitch and finish the skirt with a folded edge. The top of the yoke is then finished with an i-cord edge and facing before the straps are worked and attached.
