This cardigan is knit top down. A decorative structure pattern is knit at the hem and on the cuffs, the rest is knit flat in stockinette using circular needles. The sleeves are knit on circular needles using the magic loop technique or double pointed needles. This pattern is available in 5 sizes. This is a garment that will keep you warm for many years to come.

Material:
Yarn: 500g, 700g Finull (180m/100g=worsted weight)
or Gotland/Finull (180m/100g=worsted weight)
or Jämtland (180m/100g=worsted weight)
or 400g,500g,500g,600g, 600g 2-ply Gotland/Finull (240 m/ 100g=DK) or 2-ply Jämtland
We used our own yarn, all our wool is from local farms near Avelsås farm.

Gauge: 20 st/28 rows per 10 cm/4 inches on needle size 4 mm/US6

For sleeves - Double pointed needles size 4 mm, US6 or Magic Loop size 4 mm, 80 cm/US6, 32 inches.

About measurements - Please note that the metric system is used in Sweden, converting to inches requires rounding up or down - adjust to fit your body.

Size1: Chest appr. 88 cm/ 34,5 inches (Length appr. 58 cm/23 inches)
Size 2: Chest appr. 96 cm/ 38 inches (Length appr. 59 cm/23 inches)
Size 3: Chest appr. 104 cm/ 41 inches (Length appr. 60 cm/23,5 inches)

You can easily adjust measurements to fit your body shape as you knit. Our cardigan is knit top down. A few more/less increases can be done , just note that if you adjust the number of stitches.
