Avena Hood is knitted from the top down. First the hood part is knitted flat and and shaped with increasing sts at lower back of the head and under jaw. Then the work is joined in the round and shoulder shaping is made. Last the stitches are separated in back and front, which are worked separately. All the edges are then finished with twisted rib and short seam on top of the hood is sewn.
