Avenue Waistcoat

Avenue is a feminine and flattering vest or cape. It is worked in garter stitch, back and forth, with only one color at a time. Back and fronts are worked separately - from lower edge, and joined along the shoulders. Three edge stitches for a stable finish along the borders.

Procedure
Avenue is worked in garter stitch, back and forth, only one color at a time. Back and fronts are worked separately - from lower edge, and join along the shoulders. Three edge stitches form a stable finish along the borders. I have joined about 10 cm under each armhole, leaving long slits at each side.
