Aveya is a one skein pattern that is ideal for using your favorite skein of yarn. Featuring a combination of one color brioche, garter and dropped stitches, Aveya is knit from one corner to the long edge on the opposite side and is finished with a touch of picot. Rhythmic and memorizable stitches allows the shawl to grow quickly and makes it a joy to knit. :)

Knit as long or short as you’d like, depending on how many yards you have in your skein. Light fingering/fingering weight yarn ranges from 400yds to 462yds.

Aveya looks equally beautiful in both solid and variegated/speckled skeins as shown in the photos. I knit the speckled skein slightly smaller than the pink version. Notes are added in the pattern for that version :)
