Graceful scarf/shawlette is knitted tip to tip. Sloped edges meet in a gentle curve in the center; scalloped edge created with a cable. Smooth I-cord rolled edge along neckline. Gull wing V shaping created by short rows in the center. Can be worn as a scarf, with the curve in front and ends wrapped around neck to dangle in front, or with the curve in back and ends tied in front as a shawlette.

May be knitted in fingering, dk or worsted weight yarn. You decide how long you’d like it. Sizes created by different weight yarns are listed below.

Needles: can be worked on straight or circular needles. Needle size depends on chosen yarn weight.
Fingering – sz. 7 needle
Dk – sz. 8 needle
Worsted – sz. 9 needle
Yarn: yardage will vary depending on chosen yarn weight and desired size of scarf. Recommended amounts:
Fingering – 350-400yds
DK – 250-300yds
Worsted – 220-275yds

Pattern Repeat B: Used from center to end (decreases in width)
Row 1: K to 2 st before marker, K2tog, slip marker, K2tog, YO, K4. You are decreasing by one stitch.
