This is a hat for the experienced knitter, it involves using a cable needle to create the ‘twisted rib’. It is quick to knit and is only a couple of evenings work. I have shown how to produce the striping order on the pattern but you could use your own colour order, I produced it to use up a stash of odd balls of yarn which I thought looked good together.
I have used yarns which are thick and quick to knit up but are also light to wear - you don’t want a hat that is too heavy.
