DESCRIPTION
An eye-catching design, carefully placed textured stitches and flattering V neck, make Aviva Tee the perfect topping for your spring wardrobe.
This Tee is worked from the bottom up in joined unturned rounds displaying overlay design in contrast color, and then in turned rounds with simple half double crochet stitches until underarm. Front and back are separately worked flat.
Front V-neckline of the top is made by making two overlapping flaps.

SIZING
Aviva Tee comes with -2” to 2” of ease at the bust and narrower short sleeves.
The pattern calls for DK weight yarn (category 3) in at least 1 main color (MC), and 1 contrast color (CC).

I’m wearing size 3 with 2” (5 cm) of positive ease around the bust. I made this sample using Sunrays Creations Kausheya yarn in Lilac as main color and chartreuse as contrast color.
When choosing a size, find your actual bust size in column A of the sizing table. The finished bust circumference in column B will be closest either to 5 cm (2”) smaller (i.e. negative ease), or 5 cm (2”) larger (i.e. positive ease) than your actual bust measurement. Length is customizable and explained in the pattern.

MATERIALS
Hook: 4.0 mm (main gauge) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: Tape measure, scissors, darning needle, 10-12 locking stitch markers.

Yarn: You’ll need at least two colors. A main color (MC), and a contrasting color (CC) of any DK weight yarn you can meet gauge with.

The approximate yardages required for all 10 sizes and styles are:
4 (4, 4, 5, 5) (6, 7, 7, 8, 8) skein(s) ea (4 oz/250 yds, 100 g/230 m)
MC: 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) (5, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins
CC: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1) (1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins
