This little amphibian friend is beginner friendly and requires no sewing! The gills are created beforehand and worked in round.

approx. materials used:

5g darker chenille yarn
10g lighter chenille yarn
5mm hook
10mm safety eyes x 2
Polyfil stuffing

This uses very little yarn, is worked in one piece, can be made in around 30 minutes, is perfect for markets, can be made in any colour and to make it bigger you can use a bigger hook/chunkier yarn and smaller with a smaller hook and and thinner yarn so no stitch adjustment is necessary.

This pattern makes about a 5 inch axolotl and hardly any materials or time!
