Ayaz Hat is inspired by the crisp, icy beauty of a still winter night. In Turkish, “Ayaz” means the sharp, dry cold of a clear winter night. Together with the Kar Hat, this design is part of a winter-inspired pair — two sibling hats created to celebrate the quiet beauty of snow and frost.

The textured stitch pattern evokes the sparkle of frost in moonlight, creating a cozy yet elegant accessory. Worked seamlessly from the bottom up, Ayaz Hat begins with a classic ribbed brim and continues with the Ayaz Stitch pattern, using simple knit and purl stitches to create a beautiful textured fabric.
