Aylesford is the first hat in the Annapolis Valley colorwork collection. It is a simple knit using only two colours and a two row repeat. It features a traditional east coast inspired vertical colourwork design . Have fun and get creative with your colour choices.

This collection is meant to be beginner friendly without long floats or complicated patterns. All designs have 2-4 colours, a 2-4 stitch repeat, and a 2-4 round repeat. All hats are knit using Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, a super bulky, size 6, easily accessible yarn. Each pattern contains a unique design to help build your colourwork techniques.

Gauge:4” (10 cm) = 9.5 stitches x 12 rounds in stockinette on larger needles
