Azalea is a stranded colorwork hat, knitted in the soft yet woolly Merino d’Arles from Rosy Green Wool. An organically certified yarn made from French merino. Combine four of your favorite colors. This hat is perfect as a gift or a treat for yourself.

Yarn: Merino d’Arles from Rosy Green Wool, 50g = 200 m, or other yarn choice that gives the same gauge.

Less than 50 grams of each color. For the sample hat approx. 20 g of color A, 28 g of color B, 8 g of color C and 6 g of color D was used.

Size: Lady size, medium, 54-57 cm head circumference

Needles: 2, 5 mm and 3 mm circular needle 50-60 cm or the size you need to obtain gauge. You will also need DPN’s or longer circulars (magic loop) for decreases in the top.

Gauge: 30 stitches and 34 rows is 10x10 cm in stranded colorwork after blocking

Other: stitch markers 9, one should be in a different color or shape to mark the beginning of the round.
