The Aztec Sweater takes inspiration from the geometrical figures found in ancient Aztec architecture and art. It is a crochet alternative to Norwegian Fair Isle Sweaters that have been traditionally knitted for centuries. It’s seamlessly worked top-down and the yoke is worked by following a color chart. It can be made cropped with short sleeves or full length with long sleeves.

The pattern is worked using a stitch called CSC (Central Simple Crochet). It can be a bit tricky to learn at the beginning, but once mastered, the result is a beautiful colorful design that emulates Fair Isle knitting. The technique is clearly explained in the pattern with pictures.

This listing is for the PDF crochet pattern only.

It is comes in US terms and with lots and lots of very helpful pictures.
