I invite you to step into the wonderful world of Mosaic knitting with these toe-up socks. Crisp, clear contrasts outline the beauty of Mosaic patterns. These particular geometric forms are mirrored, to produce a clean symmetry both horizontally and vertically, reminiscent of classical Aztec architecture. Mosaic knitting is an easy introduction to colour work and always produces stunningly attractive designs. Constructed with the easy Afterthought Heel, in soothing stripes, these socks will soon inspire you to explore the gorgeous geometry of Mosaic knitting.

Knit entirely in Stockinet Stitch with Magic Loop knitting, this will be an absorbing yet quick project for the adventurous beginner, where you’ll learn in a tutorial format.

Extensive pattern support is offered through video instructions for a number of techniques: Toe-Up Sock Construction, Judy’s Magic Cast On, Foot Measurement, Afterthought Heel, Kitchener Stitch, Stretchy Bind Off and of course, Mosaic Knitting and finishing tips. Pattern also includes photos, charts and written instructions.
