This is sold as a “Knit Kit in a Box”. The kit includes one full skein of red wool, a smaller skein of green wool for the toe and heel, and small balls of white, grey, black and light green for the sheep and lettering. It also included a small piece of ribbon for decorating the wreath around the black sheep’s neck.

The upper part of the stocking is knit side to side. After the intarsia section is completed, the stocking is worked in the round.
