I needed a simple flower that could be easily sewn to a yarnbomb and would suggest a cherry blossom back in 2013. I created this. Recently the pattern was requested and so I am sharing it.

It is very simple and quick to make and better for sewing onto things than a stand alone decoration. It looked very effective on the yarnbomb.
