Baby Bag
Bags like these are found to be comforting to the baby. They also insure that the covers won’t get kicked off. SIZE: finished circumference 20” finished length 19”

YARN, GAUGE AND MACHINE: Bebe yarn is used for 2 gauges. The first is a single strand that gets 27 stitches & 38 rows/4” and may be knitted on the standard gauge stitch dial at 9, Passap stitch dial at 6-7 or mid-gauge machine stitch dial at 3-5. The 2nd gauge is achieved by running 2 strands of Bebe at once on the bulky stitch dial at 4 or midgauge machine stitch dial at 7 and gets 18 stitches & 24 rows/4”. The bag shown is knitted circular on the Passap machine. Passaps and standard gauge machines with ribbers can knit this version which is represented by the first set of numbers in the pattern. The circular version using 2 strands of yarn is represented by the numbers in brackets. A version for single bed machines follows. Stitch dial sizes are approximate.
