This hat has a dual purpose: When not in use as a hat, simply turn it upside-down and use it as a basket to store ribbons or other small items. Smaller needles are used for the crown (or basket bottom) for a slightly tighter and firmer fabric.

Measurements: To fit infant 9-12 months

Yarn: Plymouth Yarn Company Royal Cashmere, 100% cashmere, 75 oz (50 g)/125 yds (114 m), Color 2581

Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm) straight and two US 5 (3.75 mm) double-point needles or size you need to obtain correct gauge

Other Supplies: Tapestry needle

Low Vision: This book is available from the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled in a print Braille and digital Braille format.
