this is an intermediate crochet pattern written in US terms.

the pdf includes instructions for two sizes:

small: for children and adults with small heads
medium: for adults or children with large heads

the poncho and hoodie length is made to measure.

materials:
- worsted weight yarn (weight 4)
+/- 1500g black for adult size
optional: +/- 30g pink for inner ears

• 4.5-6mm hook (whichever hook that best matches the gauge or gives you the desired collar size)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors Optional:
• a small bit of fibrefill for the ears
• a head form to help with ear placement and sewing
• stitch markers

A baby size is also possible with dk weight yarn and a +/-4mm hook.

Gauge:
+/-21sts = 14cm
this gauge isn’t crucial. as long as the collar fits comfortably through your head, the poncho will fit.
