Knit from brim to crown, this newborn sized bonnet is the perfect gift for any new parent. As a bonus, it knits up in an afternoon…

It is knit flat, in one piece, with minimal finishing. Ears and ties are crocheted and attached at the end.

I chose Pluma by Katia Yarns as it is a cotton based yarn with a brushed effect making it even more soft and cozy next to baby’s skin. This yarn is perfect for a coordinating baby blanket if you feel so inclined.
