This blanket was designed specifically to be used when your baby is in his/her car seat. It should cover your baby but is not overly large. There is also an opening for the seat belt to attach.
The graph is a bear but any knit/purl design of similar size could be substituted. The blanket is knit out of washable/dryable yarn. Many color combinations are possible. But of course other worsted weight washable yarn could be used.
One main color and 1 contrast color has been used. Almost the entire skein of the main color was used. There is enough of the contrast yarn to use as contrast for a second blanket. Very small amounts of black is needed to duplicate stitch the eyes. For this bear, the contrast or a different yarn can be used to duplicate stitch the heart.
