These baby shoes are knitted on two needles, in one piece, with one short seam to sew up. They are knitted in plain stitch, with any doubleknit wool. I have recommended the wools that I used in knitting my samples, as these all worked well.

The pattern comes in two sizes, 0-3 months, and 3-6 months. Instructions for both these sizes are in this one pattern, but written out separately, as I find patterns with brackets a bit confusing.

I couldn’t decide whether the shoes looked nicer plain or with decoration, so have put photos on of both. I really like the simplicity of the plain shoes, but if you want to add a little bit of embroidery to make them into Baby Bee Shoes, or Little Paws, the pattern tells you how to find my blog which has photo tutorials on the stitches you will need.

You will need approx 20g of wool for a pair of the small shoes, and 25g for the larger ones.

Some of the sample shoes that you can see in these photos are for sale in my Etsy shop, which you can also find through links in my blog. http://ginxcraft.blogspot.co.uk/

Please do whatever you want with any shoes you make!
