English
This pattern is available for $6.00.

The blanket is knit using size 8 US (5mm) knitting needles and the coordinating hat uses size 6 US (4.25mm) and size 8 US (5mm) knitting needles.

The weight of yarn is worsted weight yarn. I used cotton yarns, but feel free to use acrylic or wool.

The blanket has a garter stitch border along the top and bottom, with an I-cord edging knit along the side edges. The I-cord edging is knit right along with the rest of the blanket.

This blanket size is perfect for using in a stroller or with a car seat.

Pattern Stitch
This stitch is an easy stitch to memorize, so pattern is written and not charted.

ABOUT YARNS:
The Bernat Cotton is closer to a heavy weight worsted and the blanket is 23” x 25.“ Gauge listed above is for this weight yarn.

The Hobby Lobby Cotton is a bit lighter in weight and the gauge for it is: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches in the pattern stitch. Finished Blanket size is 21.5” x 25.“

Hat
The hat will fit 0 to 6 months size. Pattern is written for it to be knit flat and seamed when done.
