A basket-weave baby blanket using 4 plain (K) x 4 purl (P) x 6 rows. There is a wide rib pattern at the start and finish, and a narrow rib down the sides. It has a bubble feel that helps capture warm air to keep the baby snug.

Finished size: approx. 90 cm x 70 cm

Materials:

• 4 x 100g balls of 8-ply wool
• 4 mm knitting needles, straight or circular
• Yarn needle for weaving in ends
