This is a very easy to make blanket that works well as a baby blanket, due to the stretch it has. Lovely to wrap baby in. It also works well as a lapghan or for someone in a wheelchair.

The main part of the blanket only uses chain and single crochet. Simple.

The border is ribbed, which gives the blanket a nice finish. It is worked using front and back post stitches. It can be tricky the first time you try it but worth the effort. I worked it in 1 hook size smaller than the blanket.

The size can be easily adjusted. Any yarn and corresponding needle can be used. The Kismet Feels Like Cashmere gives a luxurious, soft and cuddly feel.
