This is the pattern for a baby blanket with panel. I do have this pattern available for free on my website if you would prefer that option. The link is down below, but I’ve made it available for people to download as well for $1 on Ravelry.

I’ve used 8 ply cotton and a 5.5mm crochet hook, but you can use different sizes depending on what you’re most comfortable with.

• Any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used 8 ply yarn which is light worsted in the US and double knit in the UK. I used 7 100gm balls of the main colour and 2 100gm balls of the contrast colour.
• Crochet hooks, I used a 5.5mm hook and a 5mm hook, but my tension is tight, so use the hook you would usually use for the weight yarn.
• A darning needle to weave in ends.
• Scissors.
• Appliques to add to the centre panel.
• Thread and needle to stitch the appliques to the blanket.
• Embroidery cotton to embroider flower centres.
