Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, 5 (6, 6) – ½” buttons, sewing needle and thread in similar color to yarn (for attaching buttons)

PATTERN NOTES
The cardigan is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up and seamed. After assembling the body, stitches for the button bands and neckband are picked up and worked flat.

The hat is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up.
