These baby booties are sized for a newborn (0-3 months) and a great last-minute gift for a baby shower. The booties are created as one piece with an oval sole and then the sides are crocheted directly into the soles. The booties make use of the linked double crochet (stitch instructions included) to create solid sides so baby’s toes are less likely to get caught by the fabric. The ankles of the boots fit snugly to prevent the booties from falling off of baby’s feet. They work up quickly and only take an hour or two to finish.

Gauge: 15 ldc for 10 rows = 3”x4” square.
